Based in Washington, D.C., Salman is Vice President of Strategic Consulting at Newland Chase, a CIBT company, where he leads a global team advising multinational organizations on immigration and global mobility.

In a career spanning over 15 years he has worked as an attorney focused on large technology companies as both outside counsel and previously served as an in-house subject matter expert within Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization. With Amazon, Salman's work enabled mobility and immigration in new markets globally, as well as the integration of immigration-sponsored foreign nationals working for targets of M&A activity- including the Amazon Studios acquisition of MGM. He played an integral role in evangelizing Amazon's immigration program among all business verticals and developing a mobility Return on Investment metric for business and finance executives.

Salman is passionate about refugees and the humanitarian migrant community. With Amazon he worked with teams around the world to assist and resettle Afghans and Ukrainians fleeing armed conflict, as well as other persecuted and at-risk individuals. Salman is a member of the Board of RAICES, and organization committed to the legal protection of immigrants and refugees.
